Plug for Dizzy/CAS Hole?
Plug for Dizzy/CAS Hole?
I'm running a crank-fired (ok, e-shaft-fired) ignition system in my 13B. I've discarded the distributor, and replaced it with an S4 CAS. I'd like to go the next step, and remove the CAS, and replace it with a suitable plug. I may have to machine up something to suit, but I thought I'd check and see what others have done in this instance.

You can press fit a large enough freeze plug or just use a block-off plate with sealant and nut. I've seen it work both ways. I personally use the freeze plug. It makes for a cleaner install.
