Hi, just installed M2 stage 3 i bought off a list member who lives near where M2 was in Cali. This is a CALI.stock ecu that was chipped by M2,my FD93 is a non Cali. car, question is would emissionchips left in it cause a check engine light to come on. or would M2 have removed emission, and i have another problem? Car runs great with M2 box. I also disconected battery during install and also again to give ecu a chance to clear code. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Most likely it's just the EGR code, but check the ECU codes to be sure:

Well i am not getting any codes flashed at me,just a steady check engine light. So i pulled neg. bat. cable again ,stepped on brake for awhile, then started it again, and check engine light came on again. went on a 45 mile drive and it ran great, coming back it would miss alittle at stop lights, but never under load.
