Intake, Downpipe, Streetport...need ECU? Yes or No?
Intake, Downpipe, Streetport...need ECU? Yes or No?
Will I need an upgraded ECU for these mods: Apex'i Intakes, Downpipe, and a street-port?
How about after I add the Midpipe and Catback exhaust?
My '94 FD is going to be done in a few weeks. And I'm just concerned with how I should drive it. Will it be leaning out at stock boost and the mods stated above?
Ultimately I plan to get a Power FC w/Datalogit and a OZ DIY WB but don't have the funds for it now, just spent a LOT!
Thanks!

I suppose if you keep your boost at 10 psi, you will probably be safe but streetports usually require less aggressive ignition timing and more fuel up top (plenty of that with the stock ecu though).
Do not put a midpipe on without an ecu. Since you seem to be worried about money, I would just leave things alone or get an ecu. $1100 for a Power FC is cheaper than paying for another rebuild.
