How does haltech manage the primaries after staging

If my primaries are working at lets say 80% duty cylcle before staging, will they keep the same duty cycle after staging?( when my secondaries start working).
Or Will all the injectors have the pulsewidth designated after the stage line?
Any comments apreciated

Duty cycle is just a function of milliseconds on time vs. total on time available per revolution.

The stage line on the haltech graph simply shows where the haltech switches from firing the primaries to firing both the primaries and the secondaries. The stage line is also (if the programming is correct) accompanied by a reduction in millisecond values proportional to the increase in total fuel flow.

For example, if using stock 550+850 injectors, if the millisecond on time is 10ms just before the staging line, the on time just after the staging line should be around 3.9ms (10ms of 550cc*2 flow is equal to 3.9ms of 550cc*2+850cc*2 flow).

In other words, no, the duty cycle will normally reduce to about 39% percent of what it was before staging, assuming stock injectors. If you have different injectors than stock, the ratio change will be different.

Hope this makes sense.
