hey im meeting up with this guy in about an hour and he says he is switching to the AEM and will sell me his pettit for 400 and my ecu. i dont know the guy too well and dont know if i should trust him how can i make sure the ecu im buying is the pettit not the stock. he ways it is about 4 years old. also will i notice a diff when i drive the car/? please if anyone cen tell me the diff i would be very grateful. also i heard something about the sodering into the ecu if i unscrewed the lid would i see anything noticable inside.

Well, unless he's a real sheister, it will have a big Pettit sticker on the ECU - they put a sticker on every ECU that they put a chip in.

Hell, call up Pettit and ask them! I think there's an extra daughterboard inside the ECU that they add.
