hey guys, quick question about a hood shield, i can't really remember what its called, its the layer underneath the hood, like isolation?
mine is all torn up, I was wondering if its safe to take it off, I've heard its fine, it just makes your engine louder, but I'm wondering if it makes the hood heat up or if its bad and whatnot.

 

Yes,it's OK to remove it.
