HKS PFC FCON Use?

My car came with the FCON, I want to know exactly what I can do with it, does anyone else have it? How can I tune it?

you cant do much to fine tune with it.... unless you get a HKS GCC to plug into it. The GCC allows you to fine tune the fuel curve over something like 5 points of the rpm range.

You can find a GCC on ebay for pretty cheap... but MAKE SURE you buy one WITH the harness. People like to sell the harness for almost as much as the unit.

like they said above it is really just a preprogramed piggy pack unit. The GCC can can fine tune a little. I would not recommend adjusting the settings inside the box with out talking to a authorized dealer. I turned mine up a couple of notches and it runs very rich! But I have run the F-conn for 4-5 years now with no problems. Up to 14 lbs of boost with 100+ passes at the drag strip. Intake, full exhaust, smic, profec b=12.30 in 1/4 for me! I am going single in a few weeks so mine is for sale on the parts section $400!

I think install is just plug-n-go but tuning has to be from factory like he said, it comes pre-tuned. Ill be selling miune pretty soon as well, going standalone.

Doesn't the F-Con V Pro and F-Con S come blank? Aren't you supposed to be able to download a basic map and open to change anything you want?

Whoever calls a 5-point fuel/ignition curve change 'fine tuning' doesn't know ****.

No.
I know at least the F-CON Pro V has to be installed and tuned by an authorized HKS Pro V tuner.  If you try to skirt around this, HKS will ignore you like you have a fatal, contageous disease.
It is NOT a DIY unit, and I'd be surprised if you got one from an authorized HKS dealer with no support.

I do not know of anyone who is freely giving away Pro V maps.
If they are and HKS hears of it, they will get a harsh warning if not totally black-listed.
HKS really protects their Pro V authorized tuners.
I'd be really surprised if you could get them "online".
