Greddy E-manage for FD3S??

Hello!

I am curious to know if the new Greddy E-manage unit can be used on a FD3S? Also, if anyone has installed one can they tell me how good it has worked for them.

I am interested in buying this unit. I just need a fuel computer so I can install the latter upgrades. I dont plan on upgrading the turbos or increasing the boost real high. Maybe 2 psi higher than stock.

Please let me know if this unit can satisfy FD3S owners too.

Thanks for your help!

James

I read the posts. Most talk about the RX7 FC3S.

I would like to get more input from the FD3S owners.

I don't know of anyone using it on the FD, but it should work very well.

The only problem with using it on the FD is when you ramp up the MAP sensor's input to the ECU, the ECU will hit fuel cutoff sooner. It does have a fuel cut prevention, but you would have to use the injector control harness to directly add pulsewidth to the injectors to compensate.

Really, for the FD, a PowerFC would be a better choice - the PowerFC is truly an amazing unit. It is pricier, but it's VERY powerful and tuned well right out of the box.

Interesting.

that is what I figured. I just dont want to pay the Power FC price. It is outrageous.

So who would be able to tune the E-manage? All I really want is a fuel and injector controller. E-manage seems to be the right item.

What other complications do you see for an FD?
