Emanage Blue Ignition Control Questions

Ok i got an emanage and im trying to figure out what i can and cant do with the timing. I know there is leading and trailing timing. And the emanage plugs in to both circuits. And i have heard that emanage blue cannot control the split? What is the split? What are people refering to? Where is the information that i need to comprehend this? So with that said, i am also curious to know about controlling the timing. So i can tune my car. I want to increase boost to 12-14 psi. I am on a stock turbo. S4 . I heard retard timing 1 degree for every psi of boost over 9psi.Is that right? or Can i do that then run a leaner mixture and retard timing more for more power? Any info would be great thanks.

I cant be much of help because i havnt got my car running yet, finding help with the emanage is quite hard, i dont think many people are running it. but occasionally someone will jump in and know the answers.. the split there referring to is thetiming on the leading and trailing. They do not fire at the same time therefore making a split some people run no split like i said i havnt started tuning yet so im not much help. I know the wiring for the ultimate was kinda screwing on what was what so you might want to make sure the blue is funky also. I believe make boost on the stock turbo is about 12 before you start lossing effiency.. hope that helps alittle hopefully in a few months ill be of some use

cool that i get but the emanage blue taps both leading and trailing signals? So does it just adjust the timing as a whole and the stock ecu does the split? Or i adjust the leading and the trailing stays the same?? Hmm guess ill learn. I got mine hooked up and started downloading updates. When i try to save info/confirm my settings i get a (this unit does not support something??? Something like that dunno?
Oh wellThanks
