ECU upgrade benefits
Ok I'm tired of searching could some one please help me answer a few questions?
I have a 94 with reliablitiy mods and plan on having Pettit rebuild the motor and turbos. I'm debating dropping and extra $1000 to get a power FC installed and tuned base tune I think.
What I want to know is what I'll get for the extra grand?
Does the Power FC make a noticable difference in:
Driveability? right now I have a horrible 3k hesitation and not really good throttle responce
Power gains? I'm thinking 14 psi max on 93 octaine is the most I'll go
Improved reliability? Do I get a warning buzz or light for high oil or water temps, lean conditions?
In short what are the benefits and is the Power FC still the best option for this car? I plan on driving her often and somewhat spritited but not real racing I want to keep her for a long long time.
