ECU question
ECU question
Hey guys,
I'm purchasing a 93 FD soon and it's nonsequential, has a downpipe, midpipe, and aftermarket catback. It's fine tuned by an Apexi SAFC and has an old HKS boost controller on it as well. The turbos are clipped to reduce backpressure, and the ECU is by G-Force, specified for a single turbo.
Right now I'm mainly concerned with changing out the midpipe due to boost creep issues people constantly remind others about. Main question is, if I change out that midpipe for a high flow cat, will this greatly affect the currently setup the G-Force ECU is programmed to, or will it be okay to just change up that mod? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I tried searching already, couldn't come up with anything.
