Question ECU 101

Ok lemmie see if I have this straight.
Haltech, motronic - best money can buy
Wolf - Similar or in the same class (God knows the Haltech/Wolf this has been done to death)
Power FC - As good? Not as good? (This is one I could really use some help on).
PFC purple - not as good as above? Some people have problems?
ECU upgrade - low cost, runs rick so it gives up HP, basically, the entry level.
Can I use an FCON with an FCD and manual boost control? Bargan basement if it works and does not go

It depends on how far you want to go with the car. The F-Con and ECU upgrade are only good up to a point. The F-Con is fuel only, so it doesn't do ignition. The standalone ECU's give MUCH more flexibility than the piggy backs.

Motec is the best if you have wads of cash. Also, don't forget Autronic.

Other than that, what 13B said and what your feeling are towards how much you want to put into your car.
