first off, why in the world would you want to do this? Its there for a reason, and unless your motor has been balanced and built right going over 8k will do nothing in terms or power, besides kill your motor.

I am doing this search for my friend mechanic and he has his reason that I don't know 100%, but one of the reason is that he said that when the rev limiter happend the back injectors stop dispensing and you know what happen at high RPM and no fuel to cool down the rotor. Most of the engine fail is the rear rotor. So please any info will be really helpful ....

Disabling the rev limiter will kill the engine FASTER.
Tell your mechanic he's an idiot.

Thanks for answering my question ... I didn't ask what people think about disable the rev limiter, WHY always people don't understand what somebody likewant to do they SAY THAT PERSON IS CRIZY OR STUPED. I didn't ask for opinions, I ask about to disable the rev limiter. If people see the mod and performers this mechanic can do will never say he is an idiot.

You need to read up on how and engine gets damaged when you overrev a motor.
Your MECHANIC should know this, but if he's asking how to disable the rev limiter, then he's a fricken' idiot PERIOD.
If you're questioning why we're insulting you, you need to figure out why, wouldn't you think?
