controlling an upgraded ECU

is it difficukt to control an upgraded ECU, like Haltech or Pettit? i dont know too much about aftermarket ECU's. Can somebody please shed some light on this dark topic for me...

what do you mean by difficult to control? you have total control of all engine functions. if you mean that these systems are difficult to tune for people who have never seen an aftermarket engine management system. you may be right, but they are very easy to work with once you get into the software and start to work with it. you should know some basics of engine tuning and engine operation, but there are alot of shops and sources for help with almost any system. the reprogramed units take no technical knowledge except to ability to remove one ECU and install the new one.
