Bosch Lsu 4.2 differences help.
I've looked everywhere and cant find any info on this subject. The Bosch US part no. 17014 is a lsu 4.2 sensor that innovate uses on my older mtx-l. It uses a 6 pin plug that has a half round shape to it. The Bosch 17018 is also a lsu 4.2 that utilizes 6 pins as well and are numbered the same as the 17014 but usues a square body plug. Aem uses this on their older uego widebands. Based on pics it looks like the tips are different as well. What I'm at is are they interchangeable minus the different plugs? Performance wise too? Any info is much appreciated as I'm trying to hunt down a tuning issue.

The simplest thing to do is to order the replacement sensor from the vendor that makes your wideband, and then you don't have to worry about the differences (yes this might cost more). Just buy a sensor that is compatible and pay the mark up.
Or switch to another wideband that supports a newer sensor like an LSU 4.9 .

I run the 506 infinity ecu and it only accepts a lsu 4.2. I built the harness myself and utilized the style of connector mentioned above. (Half round) I was unaware that other manufacturers had different 4.2 sensors. I would go 4.9 if the ecu supports it but it doesnt. So I'm running a different 4.2 other than the manufacturer and wanted to know if the sensors are theoretically different other than the plug.
