Best standalone for NA with turbo potential
I have a B2200 running stock S4 fuel injection, i want to upgrade to a standalone and wondering what the best option is? I also plan to put a 4 port turbo motor in the truck in the future, so i would like something that can run both. Im in Canada if it makes a difference, and would like to drive in the winter when roads are visible.
There are seriously tons of options, just depends mainly on your budget I'd say. Haltech Sprint RE would be a good option, personally I'm a big advocate of the AEM EMS-4. Megasquirt and Microtech would be good to look at also.
if microtech ( really,, dont ) then only the LTC offers the ability to custom scale the load map
all the older versions will basically give you only 5 NA tuning zones
( 20 inch, 15 inch , 10 inch , 5 inch an 0 in Hg )
which is very crap
bang for buck, you cant go past the e440 adaptronic and its excellent user support
almost a medium level haltech for abilitys,, at almost down to the basic sprint price
