Anyone Interested In a Greddy E-Manage section?

I read the old post, and will try it again. Can we get a section? I just bought the Ultimate, and it would be nice to have a reliable, consistant area, to post in. Without having to search if it gets lost in the shuffle.'
Regards,
Chris

Your request Is accounted for, but can the demand be said for others? Do you have the link or post The Wankler?

I dont underdtand what you are saying. Come back??

I am in the process of wirring (Ultimate E-Manage) it up right now, building a pig-tail. I am confused on a couple things, and will call for support. After I do, I will post some clear instructions on splicing into the harness.

I have heard there where issues with the wirring. One, the "RPM" wire is said to be hooked into your "Leading" coil, when it should go to your "Trailling" coil.?

I was also wondering about the Knock Sensor wires. It says you can hook into your Water/Intake temp, and also you Knock Sensor? I dont see how you can hook into all three.

Also, for hooking into the injectors, is it 1 = Leading #1, 2 = leading #2, 3 = Trailling #1, 4 = Traillling #2. ?

Questions I have posted in other groups, looking for answers.

I have a 1888 Rx7 T2. I am in the middle of hooking up the wirring harness.

1. Looking over the directions, I noticed they mention hooking the Knock up to, "Knock 1-2, Water temp signal, Intake Temp signal". I have located the Water and Intake Temp wires on the E-harness, but am confused on the Knock wire. I do not see a extra wire for Knock.

2. Also, where does the atmosphereic pressure wire go to?

3. What about the Idle control valve wirring? Is that needed?

4. is the Analog input/Output wire used?

5. What about the Speed signal wirring? Is that needed?

Thanks all!
Chris

Ok, greddy told me you can only hook into two of the three at all times. The booklet shows where we can hook into your, Knock, Water temp, and or Intake temp. It is up to you which you want to hook into.

I meant the Absolute Pressure Sensor Signal.

I was told you hook the "Analog Input/Output" wirring to this. It is used on vehicles with a airflow meter that uses a Map Sensor for a Boost limiter.

I was told only if you have idle issues.

I answered this above in No2.

I was told it depends on what features you want to use. There is labled hookup on the wiring harness, I just thought to ask.

Thanks all!

I bought a second hand cpu, and a wirring harness, and created my own pigtail..... PITA, but worth it in the long run!

How much of a PITA was it. I almost considered buying a prebuilt one.

Its not really a PITA, just time consumng. After buying $45 CPU, and both wirring harness', $120.00, guess I could have bought one like you mentioned above . I will post a pic shortly. Nice thing about all this, I can use it for any piggy back, and not cut into my harness.

I have to worry about cali smog, that is the reason I have gone this route. Otherwise, I would have bought a standalone.
