Any FC's using G-Force?
I'm getting new tires this week and would like to drive down to Japtrix in West Palm (about an hour drive) for a ECU upgrade so that I can put on a racepipe. I have a '90 TII /w Bonez intake, dp, hi-flo-cat and Greddy SP. Just looking for some feedback...

BEWARE!!!!!
I bought 2 G-Force chips from UPRD last January (1 for the standard turbo, one for a TO4) during a visit to Los Angeles (I live in the U.K.). During my visit. I was promised technical support if I had any problems post-installation.
When my shop fitted the chip for the standard turbo, it didn't work (running massively rich, no fault codes). Neither did the TO4 chip work. Despite numerous phone calls and e-mails between my shop and UPRD/G-Force, during which help was initially promised, the problems were never addressed. As a result, I am now several hundred dollars poorer and still stuck with the standard ECU.
In summary, I personally wouldn't touch any chip product from G-Force/UPRD unless it was fitted and tested by them. They certainly don't stand behind the chips when the 'chips are down' (pun fully intended). I personally wouldn't give them the time of day after my experience.

I've been running G-Force chipped ECU for some time now.
It's not made by UPRD, so it might be just them - isn't UPRD gone now?
The only comparison I can make is that it runs a lot "cleaner" than my other Autothority / Superchips ECU.
The Superchips one ran rich (actually retarded ignition timing) and backfired all the time.
I dunno how UPRD can claim reprogramming the stock ECU can support a "T04".
The stock fuel injectors and fuel pump can only support 250bhp, and thus no way the ECU can make more power than that...

I bought a G-Force chip from a member here, and had no probs with it. Ran a little richer at WOT, but ALOT smoother. I ultimately sold it, and the current owner is running 12's on it. with the aid of an S-AFC. However gettting UPRD to do anything was a worthless task. It's like beating a dead mule with a wet noodle.
