and regardless of how people see drifting, i dont see it as a sport but as an artform.

its like racing in a straight line, whats the point of that whose faster? to each his own.

and +1 on that gay guy watching a porno. post of the year
NO I not. I see drifting as an artform also, to me it's more like poetry in motion!!! I use to hit the 1320 of the streets years ago in the Honda world. I got bored of the no turning and lack of due to understeer. I Drift from time to time but you have to be Super Fast with your Steering, and unless you can get to the track like that guy theres no room for error. So I enjoy and really always have Canyon Running It's just gettin harder cause CHP there patroling more.

OK, my 2 cents. Rally is not drift, but drift origins are based in Togue and the, uh, old guys here just don't know that. So um, why don't you ******** let the drifters be. You cant do what they do and they cant do what you do. and coming at a persons lively hood on a car site is low so go to hell. I respect drifting and the people that do it and love it and i respect drag cars but drivers of most grassroots drag cars think they are on top of the world and that all disputes are solved a quarter mile at a time so go back to the fast and the furious 1 and leave us all alone.

Oh and to the original post, I think a little rice is cool tail pipes are a bit much color ain't my favorite, but I respect it. I am actually doing an inverted hatch myself, but I am trying to figure a way to put some glass in it for a rear window but still bad *** man.

The origins of drifting IS in rally.

Dudes emulated the sideways style of the scandinavians on their local roads and years later drifting was a means all by itself, rather than a means to an end. The "touge" was just a venue, rally was the inspiration.

It also comes from old *** tire technology where they had much more lateral grip and not much longitudinal grip so a little slip angle and powering over the tires gave you better traction out of the corner.

Well done, Sherlock

but drift origins are based in Togue and the, uh, old guys here just don't know that.

I'm not old, by any means... but I still think that car is fugly, and a waste of effort. Just like most of the "Drift attitude."

So um, why don't you ******** let the drifters be.

Sorry I missed the, "if you don't agree, you're an *******" memo...

You cant do what they do and they cant do what you do.

Are you really telling me rally drivers can't drift? Think about what you're saying... and pull your head out of your ***. Does the name Tanner Foust mean anything to you? How about Rhys Millen?

and coming at a persons lively hood on a car site is low so go to hell.

Lively hood? Its a fucked up car. Cars are tools, get over your objectification

I respect drifting and the people that do it and love it and i respect drag cars but drivers

Good. You've got more sense then 80 percent of the population.

of most grassroots drag cars think they are on top of the world and that all disputes are solved a quarter mile at a time so go back to the fast and the furious 1 and leave us all alone.

I concur.

And that's my 2 cents.

That was directed toward the drag guys. I am not talking about the rally. Frankly I would like to rally cross my RX7. So, yeah. Oh, and did you see that Millen beat his old time up Pikes Peak.

I think if it had a rear window and didn't look like they painted a tarp for a hatch then more people would approve.

Drifter style is Hipster style.

Why does it suck??? It's not like it has a V8 in it it's a RX7 with a ugly color so what... It's a Rotary it drifts, it may not be the best lookin 7 in the world but It runs, so in my eyes its a great car!!! Just because it is a RX7
