What to buy first?

Alright so I just picked up an 87 Gtu with a t2 lsd and I'm wondering what I should buy first (suspension wise) so I can start getting sideways for this summer. I'm new to the drift game and sorta new in the rotary field and I realize that it will be hard to drift an N/A but I don't really care since I will just be doing it for fun at the track instead of being competitive. Any advise would be appreciated but don't say get a turbo cause I'm just going to wait till the N/A blows to swap a turbo II motor.

If you're doing mostly parking lot events drifting an N/A isnt hard at all. Any suspension mods you do will be an improvement. If I were to do it again first thing for me would be the mazdatrix steering angle kit. The factory steering angle is a lot less forgiving than other cars, being able to pitch it a bit to hard and still catch it is nice.

+1 for seat. I knew it would help but when I got my corbeau, or however you spell it, I was shocked at how different it really makes.
Add coilovers and mod that diff and you got a fun little car. I love my n/a. Do wish I had more power though

Coilovers first.

The suspension feel once you go coilovers is immense and will get you drifting quicker.

Everything Buckey said is what I'd do. Although I'm broke and still haven't done angle mods, seat, or steering wheel lol

If you get coilovers without getting the toe steer eliminators for the rear... wouldn't that have premature toe wear if you also street drove the car?

if the factory toe steer bushings are still in OK condition, the wheel is going to have minimal toe in in the rear just driving down the street. AKA no its not going to cause bad toe wear if the bushings are ok.

Exactly. the Rear toe bushings compress when in a turn which adds toe-in on the loaded side of the car for better lateral grip... awesome for grip driving. but tends to make your car twitchy and a little un predictable when drifting because as you transition or initiate, it adds toe in thus making more lateral grip, but if you bobble or correct, it unloads the bushing putting the toe back to alignment specs and making the rear feel "looser" then getting back into it, it will "tighten" up again. Makes for alot of pussying out and spinning. With a bunch of seat time, you get used to it... or if you dont cupcake, and drive the ***** off of your car you really wont even notice it. They wont make a diffference when you're street driving the car... and if those bushings are bad, your back wheels flop around like flacid penii.

I hated em... My car has a little bit power, so I'm constantly on and off the throttle (i drive like a retarded j-driver) so it made me suck hard... my car would look like the Retarded Race Horse from Family Guy running. I put the Toe Elim bushings in, and it was way more predictable... I run alot of toe so as it is though.
