V mount details

Ok peeps runnin V mounts, post your info on the setup!!!! Especially if your runnin PS. (Imma use an FB PS braket like Lindsay) Im plannin for my winter build up and a v mount is on my list. Just want an idea of what you cut out, placement of your mottom mounts for your rad, what rad what size IC. Anything you could think is important when designing and building your setup.

Thanks much in advance.

i used a EVO VIII intercooler and a 2nd gen dsm radiator

i cut out the old radiator support and use the dsm rad cause it fit between the frame and moved the horn and other electronics into the fender that where on the support bar. Some people leave the stock oil cooler were it is i got a aftermarket one and remounted. Got rid of the coolant overflow tank and just used a 20oz bottle

in my opinion the hardest part was running the oil cooler lines and radiator hoses

i dont have it in the pic but a used sheet metal and put it around the vmount so there isnt any big gaps between the rad and the intercooler

What kind pulleys are you using? If you are going serpentine, you can use the FD pump, if you going ribbed or whatever they are called, go with fc+fb bracket

I plan on running the same setup for PS as Lindsay. the FB bracket, double E shaft pulleys and belt. I got a Yoohoo runnin WP and stock pulley and belt on the Alt.

I will probably run the stock oil cooler. Seems to be just as efficient as most aftermarkets, from what I have read.

In all honesty, I got a little over a month before Im goin to pull her off the road. At that point, Im gonna start takin my measurements, and look at other rads then the stocker, or Koyo's made for the FC. We got a rad shop we deal with at work ad I mite see if they can build me a custom rad for around the same price as the Koyo.

Keep the info comin tho. More info you can have, the better knowledge you got goin in. lol.
