Turbo RX-7 FC Drift Crash! NOOOOO!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hhLZk0Shr0

I found this, and it was almost too painful to watch... So I'll post it so you all can share in my pain! LOL!!

The FC turbo II is beautiful, but I don't really consider it drifting.... I guess you can call it power-over drifting but they're just going in an oval! I don't consider this real drifting.... Plus, the guys in the vid sound annoying as hell!
.... Anyway, the crash start at about 3:02, and the rest is just the guys at the track talking about the crash and how they're gonna fix it for some sort of meet.

Anyway, enjoy! Or don't...! LOL

WOW! he isn't ready enough to be doing what he was doing judging by the rookie mistakes he was making all over the track. I'm not saying I'm the best in the world but you could tell he wasn't ready to be doing what he was doing. It gets pretty hard to do the faster you go. Not to mention half dry half wet and he doesn't have much experience. That a bad recipe..................I wouldn't probably drift there in half wet half dry considering he should be going 40-50mph in top of second or in third for those corners. There's not much margin for error.

I don't count powersliding in an oval to be "real" drifting anyway...

ok, good crash but god damn that video was annoying. i muted the first part because i find tire screeching like that incredibly obnoxious and then just when i thought it was over, that frickin kid starts talking like there's no tomorrow.

Wow, that guy needs alot more time behind the seat in a place with no walls or curbs...

Didnt look like that track would be very hard at all though.

Yea i know! I'll probably get put on blast for this comment, but I don't really consider that drifting. That's just flooring the gas while going in an oval...

Simple Effect- Yeah you're right, they need a LOT more practice!!

I completly agree, If you don't enter the turn sideways your just doing a power-over.

agree with darkracer...everyone starts somewhere...plus it doesnt matter if he wasn't "ready enough for what he was doing because it was a rookie mistake and was all over the track"...not everyone has empty parking lots or empty roads with no cops...you practice where you can...and you get better from learning from mistakes like that...

man. what a waste. i have a 86 gxl and i think i would be in 2nd or 3rd gear trying to make the big curve. he should have put more power into it since he has a turbo II.
