not even, lol these tires came from the factory line just like this, no shoving blocks in the tire, there are already strechted like this, but it does make it hard mounting them on any rim other then pax wheels lol one side of the tires is about a 17 and the other is close to a 18, look up pax tires

HOSTEL!? I love that movie!

No really, where did you get em?

I'm not going to run out and buy them. I love watching the people at my tire place cringe and tell me "we're not responsible if you wreck your rims". Makes it worth stretching normal tires! Lol.

I personally run 595s at like 55-60 psi and have had no problems. I know tons of dudes who do the same thing. I wouldnt drive around like it, but for runs at an event I wouldnt sweat it.

Rad is300 dood!

And the stretch i did along with the tire pressure bumping made it so easy to step the rear out. I didn't have a chance to practice anything but a few clutch kicks and manji (did 3 transitions because that's all i had room for) before my aero blew off and my drivers side front tire blew my fender halfway off.

I want to try feints monday after i flip my coilovers the way i had em (set up for max caster now and it sux) and raise (i know, i know) it up about .5-1".....

Welded diff and stretch makes it so easy and the car transitions better. Although i dont like the caster. **** that ****. I will eat my words and say you were all right. Apologies for trying to act like a hardass thinking i know ****..... It doesn't work well on the car at all.

I can't believe I got my car driveable before slidealliance did!!!!!! Not like it was a contest, i just figured you'd beat me!

are those balloon federals?
if so, how would 205/40/17 + 9.5 work with non balloon tires like direzzas or such?

I'm scared to know this.

Nah, bct n800 or some **** like that. Made in china.

Nankang for ref. I should have done a side by side. My 45 nankang is more of a stretch than the 40 bct. No exposed barrel on the 40, i can fit a quarter between the sidewall and lip with the nankangs. Like i said, tire place ******* hated doing my nankangs. Bct's went on cake.

Have fun doing a dunlop, pirelli or michelin. It does depend on your rim barrel. Keep that in mind.

They do the lighter fluid method all the time in japan and they don't kill each other. I run 215 on 10.5 all day

Kind of old thread but i figured it is better to post here than to create new topic. I will be running R17 10j +15 wheels in the back of an FC and was wondering what better option of tyres would be for stock (rolled) fenders - 235's or 245's? 245's look stretched enough for me and i don't want to go all crazy on stretch as long as it fits in stock fenders.

Depending on your height, I would go with a 215/40 or a 225/40 to tuck stock fenders with that offset.

Height will be as low as i need to get flush fitment without tucking the rim into the fender. I think rolled rear fenders should accommodate at least 235's with offset that i have, or am i wrong?
