Cut out the back of your glove box and run a deck there, run the 2 door speakers and a sub if you care to hear your music over the noise of the car.

If i ever get bins i want to put a 10w7 in my fc. Just one. Maybe a kicker L7 12..... I like tight bass but not obnoxious rattling. Glad i grew out of that phase.... I did have 2 12's and a 1000w rms amp and they were too big, not heavy, just too much for the tiny *** car.

thats actually what i was thinking of doing but i really dont need too much bass,i was askin about the stereos cuz ive never had one in my track cars until i saw the thin magnet subs and mids those things looked lighter than the stock ones i figured that be pretty sick, i have the fiberglass peices that the bins go in, if you want them come pick them up

I'm not driving across the country for bins but thanks for the offer.

10w7's are AWESOME speakers. All it takes for them to sound really good is a decent amp (500/1, no audiobahn flea market bullshit) and a box built by someone who knows something about air and sound.

It's awesome for sitting in staging. I listen to my engine while I'm driving though.

If your "nice" at stereos you don't even need to bother with a deck. I've done once in my E30 where I spliced headphone jacks and just wired up the ipod to link directly to the speakers. That saves weight and still sounds good.

Side note: I can't listen to music when I drive for the sheer intensity of it, aka race. Engine only... Trust me the engine noise is a very good indicator of where your car is as far as the level control you hold of over your vehicle and engine safety.
