Skinning FC doors - JTP!

did you retain windows?
i saw in the FD rulebook it says you need to keep door windows/lexan, but EFF that. if i skin the outer side off (inner doorhandle/window track) then the window is bolted to it. i dont want to fab mounts to retain it...

i dont want lexan ****... especially in the up position... i just remember at the one JD session at balcony it looked like your car had no door glass which was RAD the way it was skinned. im sick of my windows rattling.

trying to get nuts before irwindale

My doors after paint. I had to modify a little more because Justin's door bars on his cage design go into the door are for more entry room.

Justin's are dope, that's how i wanted mine, but time crunch (and lack of materials) didnt let it happen. i always bang my elbow on it, and at one point it was permanently numb for a few days. it was rad.

i'm ditching the windows. i hate how they "rattle" when the upper door isn't skinned (door panels solve this)

i'm over them. race car build doesnt need that crap. i really do not care about my chassis. i'd really like to get an FD in the works this coming year for a street car although it probably wont be happen.
