umm lets see...
so far i have used

TIEN (HA's)...blew out on me (they were old), but i liked them
Kei Office...blew out , meh ok
GAB... blew out, too stiff or too soft/worthless adjustments
Old school JIC's...didnt blow out but didnt like them, didnt know which model
2 sets of Cusco coilovers ( Comp-S and Zero-1's). neither blew out. Love them both.

This was a combination list from a s13, s14, and an FC. Personally, Im going to keep using Cusco for coilovers

I, personally, dont think you need DTSS eliminators. Chances are if youre a beginner you wont know the difference anyway. Plus, the bushings are 20 years old. They probably dont even work like their supposed to anyway.

That and a diff,

Thats how I roll.

Wouldn't that be more of a reason to get DTSS eliminators? They don't harden up when they get old, they get soft.

Dependant on the coinage your looking to drop, I suggest the DTSS elims, complete suspension bushing kit and good (REAL) Stance GR+ are a great coilover for the price. Thats what Im running and alot of the S chassis peeps I know are running them too.

I'm running stance gr+pro or whatever... Stock bushings all around.

Seems to drift fine, but other people complain about DTSS. I think the car can connect stuff no problem.

I have tein flex here, but they are a lil pricey, but they were worth it to me.

Is this a daily, do like being beat to death, and what is your budget.

If you have the money i would go with DG-5's, DTSS, Extended tie rods for more angle rear subframe bushings all other poly bushings and seat time.

i have Megan Street Series Coilovers and they are ok. the cheapest real coilover i could find and still streetable for the most part.

and what are you rying to do with your car? different set ups for different racing but if your going for basic all around performance on the cheap, KYB struts and the stiffest springs you can find.

Just get a 240 if you don't have deep pockets.

I think maintenance alone will burn through your wallet.

If you are dead set on the FC, get struts+springs aka Ground Control Coilovers.

Any used coilovers that are not blown and leaking oil will work.
