Well, started on Monday with heaps of metal that eventually made an engine and now it's in it's new home.
Got some artisan made block off plates for all the emissions stuff, also drilled and tapped a few holes. More on that on a later date.

(don't mind the N/A flywheel, it's only for testing purposes*cough*cough*)
As you can see, I love dusty engine bays with clean engines in them.

Last night I started on the exhaust. I got a 3" v-band flange from Vibrant Performance. Hacked up my 3" Racing Beat down pipe and got some vatozone 3 in piping to attach it to my Apexi' GT Spec exhaust.

You can see on the inlet for the muffler there, there's some crazy *** welding going on. Basically I made my own 3" to 2.5" reducer to match up with the 2.5" inlet on that muffler for the GT system.

2.5" may seem small but i'm hoping it'll give it a good high tone as opposed to a mellow kinda loose tone.

Man, haven't updated le build in a while now. Been busy trying to get my daily smogged and wasted a week at SEMA a few weeks ago
It was fun though and I'd definitely do it again.

Since then though, I made some good progress and got all of the gauges wired up and mounted, well except for the Fail Safe, that one is just hanging out there.

Got my boost control solenoid in there also, complete w/ a quick disconnect fitting to make it official.

At the same time I removed the radiator because the brackets it had holding it in place have bugged me. Previous set up was done before I owned the car with self tapping screws and nasty *** sheet metal.
Now that the radiator is out though, I am seriously contemplating doing a V-Mount setup. Just need to practice a bit more on TIG welding aluminum to make my piping.

And I'll just drop this picture here, thought it was pretty awesome

So how is the turbo working out for you? Boost response? Power levels? Interesting mod. Did you remove the twin scroll setup if this is an S4 turbo? Looks like you did in the picture as I don't see the actuator.

I'm not entirely sure yet, I have some ideas but I just haven't gotten around to it. I need to see how my 17's are going to fit also and find out what kind of wheel spacers I will run and how far out I need to move my fenders.
Haven't had a chance to run this car yet. Still doing some tuning to get it somewhat driveable. I will be updating all the turbo stuff later on for sure. And yes, I did remove the twin scroll actuator.

Build Update!!!
Buddy of mine has a Microtech LT-10s and I was amazed by how small it was. I always though they were much bigger but it's actually a bit smaller than my standalone I'd say.

Enough lollygagging though, on Saturday I did some work on the oil cooler lines and BOV. You can see one of the lines I actually wrapped it with tape and a shop towel because it's sitting mighty close to the radiator frame.

For the BOV, I welded an HKS flange onto the stock turbo outlet pipe. I already had the Synapse HKS adapter so it was just a matter of slapping that thing on.

Finally got that radiator panel in place and laid some stickers on it.

And I decided to get a little forggy with my AN lines and put one on for the brake booster vacuum hose.

2014 is coming up fast!!!!

That 240 be lurkin'.
Drove it last night to work on the tune and get some data logs. God this thing it too bad *** to not drive on the street. Gotta register it once it's all finished.
(Should've thrown the Nardi steering wheel on to finish off the sexyness)
