I felt the same way about my NA for a long time until I drove/drifted my buddies TII at a event. My NA dreams died around the first cone. Power everywhere!!!!!! (compared to the NA that is) Don't let the NA fool you, go turbo and don't look back, well, unless it's strictly a missle that is, then just let it rip with whatever you got.

I'm going to rebuild it and finish out the rest of the year NA. Then possibly turbo or 20B next year

I will keep updating. I will also put my Haltech PS2000 and Racepak to good use. Any recommendations for rebuild/seal kits?

Thanks,

Andrew

rotary aviation and rotary aviation only for seals.

also.. i would not waste time and money on 20b.. i went that route. its a pain in the *** and a huge and constant drain on the wallet. coupled with it not even being done yet, i would kill for a 13b na atm.

If I were to go with a piston engine, I'd at least go with a Ford 5.0 or Modular V8. The T-5/T-45/TKO(3550) that's behind Ford's engines is a bunch cheaper than a GM T-56 equivalent, and G-Force's gearsets are dirt cheap compared to the GM T-56.

I just can't justify an $800 engine being bolted to a $2k transmission, I'd rather spend more on 5.0 or modular longblocks and run with a near-bulletproof $500 trans.

I've yet to see a fuel-injected 5.0 mounted PROPERLY that has required cutting the hood.

Do also keep in mind you can find full Mustang swaps for a good bit cheaper ... I just sold the 5.0 and T-5 out of my '94 Cobra parts car, with wiring and driveshaft, for $900.

I bought the reflective foil through Pegasus for $29 for a 1X2', but now DEI has it for about $18 I think. Great stuff!

More to come!

Thanks,

Andrew
