Rebound Rate Suggestions.
So I finally go to hit the track with my coil overs on. Such a big difference. I love em. I think I set them at 15 clicks toward hard in the rear and 10 clicks toward hard in the front, and I was doing well. But I'm not sure and it's bugging me. I was wondering if this sounds right, or if you guys had any suggestions. They're Stance GR+ on a n/a FC. Thanks

Will. The settings can be different between cars. Dependant on what mods you have for suspension, power, preload ect ect. There is no "perfect" setting for coilovers. You run and run and run some more and find what setting works best for you. As you improve, and mod, your settings can change again.
What you had seems to be a decent beginning point. Get in the lots and play around with them a little. Find a good combo and use that for the last practice. I hopefully will be hitting up some lots this week and weekend. Let me know if you want to go.

You really cant tell someone over the internet how to setup their suspension, like said before me it comes down to preference and then it goes down to different tracks some are rougher than others and you need a slightly softer setup to compensate.
This is how we set up my car. You want the lowest roll center possible without dragging and the car still being able to transfer weight. To low and stiff damper settings the car will not transfer weight to the front wheels giving you more grip up front. To little and the car will roll in the corner and feel sloppy. So i start off every track as close to stock as possible. Run 3 laps come in go down 4 turns on the springs and up 1 or 2 on the shock, did this til the car drags on a bump. Then I go up 2 turns and tweek the shocks as I go. Usually 2 clicks a run til it starts to feel understeery. then down 1.
Well thats the best way know how to describe how I go through the day. Of course this is done with other changes in the car like tire pressure alignment, different tires and all that fun stuff. Also write down everything you try, that way you can use the info later and you will start to see similarities in your setups and what works best for you. Every track, car, and driver is different.

Oh well, just preparation for next year.

keep driving and adapt to the settings you have now. learn your car/suspension first before you start messing with it. or at least until you feel you understand the baseline performance of where you are at. If you start changing **** right away your gonna have no idea what the effect will be.

so assuming 0 is softest and 15 is hardest, you were running 15 in the front and 10 in the rear?
i have pretty much the same setup (except i have the sweet stock exhaust) except running 9 in the front and 7 in the back. i would suggest playing around with different settings, it probably took me a good 3-4 events before i found the setting i liked. the only reason im not running any stiffer is because i really need to be able to transfer weight around for the courses i run on. the manual suggests 6/6, i started at like 7/6, went to 8/6, then 10/7, then back down to 6/6, and for the last adjustment i went from 9/6 to 9/7 at the end of the day, and haven't needed to change it since.
the hard part about always changing it though is that it'll be harder to learn the car when its constantly changing.

Yeah, but I was running 10 in the front and 15 in the rear...
I tried 7/10, and it was a bit too soft for me. Im definitely gonna play with it some more. I'll try that 9/7 and see how it goes. never thought of making the front stiffer than the rear.

Did you add any preload when you installed the coilovers? Btw, softer suspension has more grip. You're going to want to adjust the fronts softer than the rear. I'm running 3 turns of preload in the fron and 7 in the rear on my Kei Office coilovers and I'm happy with the results so far. Very little understeer at times but that will go away when I make a lower arm bar.
