Yes they make power, it depends if you have everything set up correctly. Racing Beat did have dyno results somewhere, I remember seeing it a long time ago.

Rockin the 86 gxl so I already have the 5 lug and besides if I only gain .5 hp I wont care I was able to slide all stock (not that its gunna stay that way). At least if nothing else I will be able to drown out all the Civics with babble-**** nonsense mufflers around here and never have to here those piles again.

Everybody be hatin on the N/As in the drift section but I suppose if and when I go turbo Ill never look back.

I'm in the NA boat since my FC is my daily and my drift car. It's do able. I noticed a change in power when I went to headers and a high-flow. I think next for me is an ECU so I squeeze out that last bit of power and have it if and when I go turbo.

If you werent a lazy bastard you could go look at the sites I mentioned and find it. I dont need to look for any back up statement because I know what I read on the dyno sheets and elsewhere. I have nothing to prove to you.

Talking

well monies spent, time put it, and some tears later... ITS BACK! All together and running ! It fired up on the first try! At 11:30pm so my neighbors prolly hate me cuz all I had for the exhaust was what was in my previous pics. Im so happy, I called my buddy up and I couldnt find words so I started it again just so he knew what I was tryin to let him know. WOW something actually worked for once... shitty cell PIX better ones tomarrray... maybe if i stop molesting/droolin/driving/humpin/more droolin/possibly crying/MOAR DRIVING my rx7.

I know it was just a lame motor swap(no major mods or port work) but please do understand I only got to drive the car 4 times after I bought it and put maybe 180 miles on it before she blew. Ive been without for a while(since January) saving money to get stuff I would need/want and I finally got her back.

Now its time for dtss elims coils and other goodies...

OH and cab91089 when I test fired it it started right up did the "auto rev" and idled out and bout 900rpms smooth as silk. No funny or lumpy idle it was consistant... and loud. This is for sure an 86 block too, but the engine was tuned up by the p.o. for header he ran. He made it sound like a few minutes of tinkering and he had it dialed.

Awesome good to hear you got the 7 running again. I am seriously so close to having mine done it drives me insane. I re-read the post about the EGR block off and the post said it is only if you block off the one vaccum line but there is only 1 on the EGR and Ive read tons of write ups and didnt read any other people with the idle problem. Ill let you know how my 7 runs when its time, although I am only blocking off the ACV and deleting the air pump too unless I try to rig the air pump to open my 5th and 6th ports.

FINALLY I got to drive her... shes too loud to get up past 4500rpm in this lil town but its just nice!

Cab just stay into it and it will come together fast I wish ya the best of luck with it!

PS there is a lil hesitation around 2500 to 3000rpms but i assume its from the wired open 5-6ports

low end seems a lil less peppy but again its too loud for me to romp on it yet. Better pix later back to the fun for now!

Thanks and Im trying, all I need are a few small parts now and it will be done. The hesitation issue can be a bad ground or leaking/clogged/stuck injector

"3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses."

Can someone verify or elaborate as to how to fix this because I am a little unsure as to what he is talking about. I have multiple things disconnected and because of my rats nest being "denested" could this cause this??? Also cruse control and power steering removed and the wires to my power steering were just cut and hangin out in there.

Find the break (good luck) and solder in a new wire or replace the harness and I think maybe the cruise control and p/s delete may have something to do with it but Im not positive
