Back on the crown Vic wheels I maxed my PBM's out, but that was with a 205/45/16 and nearly tucking rim. **** was super slammed and still felt awesome :/ I kinda miss that look

Had a high pressure line made for the power steering yesterday, to go from the KA pump to the FC rack.
Midwest Hose couldn't do banjo fittings the right size so I completely eliminated the banjo and screwed it straight into the pump.
Blocked off the secondary port on the FC rack and ran an s13 reservoir with s13 sending and return lines and started it up and voila, power steering. Feels awesome.
Got a couple more things to do and it'll be ready for road testing this weekend, just in time for round 2 of STD's series on the 20th

Not making Round 2, developed another leak and I don't feel like fixing it in the next couple days.
Took it out for a little testing (i.e. donuts in the access road) since I got my Abercrombie tie rod ends, and somehow ended up wrapping my main power wire to the fuse box around the alternator pulley and ripping **** out. Had to ghetto rig it to drive back to the house, but it's looking like an easy fix.
Honestly I'm not sure if I like power steering. It's just weird having it. Might go back to depowered or a manual rack if I can find one. Overall, the car feels completely different with the dtss elims, new and extended balljoints, and the steering mods. It'll take some getting used to for sure. The thought of selling it has crossed my mind a lot lately. I'm just tired of dumping money into a 25 year old car and not getting results. It's not even street legal yet and I've had it a year now.
Bought a bike.
I'll be painting it first thing and dailying it around this summer.

s30 aka 240z is on the list of cars I want to get...that is for damn sure. The FC has been a journey and so has mine, been workin on it for about 5 years, just straight dumping money into the money pit and finally got to drive it this spring (around the neighborhood cause it is on a rough tune)...but all in all, I'll keep the FC for as long as I live. Very nice FC build with KA swap...very unconventional but works hella. I likes the look of the Crown Victoria rims with stock body much better, but thats my opinion. and that 240z is makin me jelly right now.

Pump does whine! haha
Well haven't updated this in a while.
Burned my clutch up doing this:
So I pulled the motor, did the clutch and put in a new oil pan gasket.
Also finally got it tagged and street legal, so I don't have to worry about street driving any more.
May do a rolling shoot once I finish up the motor. Still have to put the wiring harness back in and radiator and stuff.

Subbing. As a S13 convert, this car makes me oddly happy, as I've considered this swap before, and still may do it, although I'm more likely going 1U once I get my shell.
But the car is looking sweet, and I love the daily.

Been a while since I updated this. Everything is back together, I've been working out the kinks by just daily driving it, surprisingly there's been few. There's an event up here on the 27th, I'll be out there for the first time since the FC has actually been 'done'.
Incidentally, it's been raining all week, street driving has been fun to say the least. Going to a buddy for an alignment tomorrow, my steering rack isn't centered and I have a ton of toe out in the front. Makes highway driving a little sketchy, but besides having way more angle to one side than the other, it feels fine sideways. My toe in in the rear is a little unavoidable, with the bald tires it walks around a little bit in the rain.
Doing a calendar shoot tonight with the s15 from Tokyo Drift actually. Pics will be up

Clutch slave cylinder went out during the photo shoot the other night, have an event on Saturday so crunching to get it ready. Just changed the master and slave cylinder and bled the system, still have to swap power steering pumps, change the oil to 20w50, build a skid plate and find a trailer.
Hopefully there'll be some drifting pics up soon!

Slid all day yesterday at Stroud for Stick to Drifting's round 3. Had a blast, since this is only the second legal event I've been to in the FC. And I've made a lot of suspension changes since the last event. Had to tweak with the coils in the back to mess with my grip settings a little, with the underpowered KA and 50 series sidewalls, I was having a really hard time maintaining a drift through the sweeper, but after cranking up the preload and running the dampening about halfway, ended up not having a problem with it durin the afternoon.
Started running out of angle then though, the track was basically a replica of FD Atlanta, and coming out of the long sweeper into that sharp left transition was super hard on stock angle with no ebrake. I think I connected that section twice, other than that it was extremely difficult. I'm about to cut up my knuckles and have them tigged along with the suspension in the s30.

My 215/40's up front were bald, so the day before the event I switched them out to 205/50's, some freebies with good tread I had laying around. Had to raise the front about a half inch since it was rubbing really bad, unfortunately.
Gotten a few pics from the event, they aren't too great though.
Can't wait to get rid of the monster truck tires and put the aero back on.
Also, for some reason none of my FS posts are working in the FS section, if anyone has a set of FC front widebody fenders and would like to trade for my BN sides and rear, HIT ME UP
Or if anyone would just like to buy my sides and rear, also HIT ME UP
