I have a set of gunmetal grey GT-C's, 18x9.5 18x10.5... I dont mind the wheel, but the gunmetal grey does not appeal to me on the leguna seca blue, plus the lip is weak... I was considering selling them and swapping for something else, possible a nice enkei..

Wanting opinions on?

1. How much to sell the Volk wheels, the faces are in perfect condition, some lips need refinish..

2. What brand of wheel to go with? I was thinking enkei because I do like a one piece, light weight wheel, if I can sell my volks for at least 1500, I can get a set of good enkeis, but im open to anything really..

3. Do I stay 18's? or go to 17's? I am open to 17's because its not a show car, tire prices are better and ive seen many FD's running 17's in racing/drifting with no problems..

4. Sizes etc...

Lots for you to consider...

1. What are you using the car for daily/track?
2. If track, are you racing? if so what class/ series?
3. How much power will you have?

You've got to figure these things out first. Once you're there, then I've got another group of questions for you.

 

1. Sell the volks for as much as possible.
2. Work, Volk, Advan, Enkei, SSR etc. Something legit.
3. I'd definitely run 17s in the front, most people do.

Thanks guys, the car is track car only. I do drive on the street, but only to events. I drift it. Power is not much, pretty basic, 60-T ball bearing with fuel and tune etc... running about 10psi.

 

17's front 18's rear so it still looks good and you can still go low up front and get lock, i wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 17x9 and 18x9.5 at least +20 or lower, 1 piece light, spoke design is up to you. TE's if you have the skrilla or rpf01 seem to be popular but that ***** up to you. Half the fun of owning a car is picking the wheels . my $.02
