Not in my FC but I had to get an event out of the way before I buckle down on my vert. Texas LoneStarBash. Highest entry speeds I've ever done. I was around 85-90mph at initiation.

 

I totally missed out on that. The biggest drift event in Texas til next year...

Yeah its a mad little local track someone has made on their farm on an old WW2 USAF base in SW England.
When I first got there I thought it'd suck as its short and narrow, but one you get you there you realise its a hell lot of fun, in any single lap you need to use 3 seperate gears to link it all, which is more than you can say for a lot of smaller tracks.

With next to no run-off anywhere its a proper car smasher too, a few cars didnt get to drive home after bigtime contact with the scenery, and I spent the next week repairing the kit and removing tyre marks from all the panels, lol.

And yeah, my car is the ex Sexy Knights D1SL and MSC car, competed in 2006 in Japan, won a few events and was top 5 or so in a few more.
It's still fairly similar to how it was then, though ive made a few little changes, but most the reason I bought it was its pretty well sorted thanks to the old owners, the car is deffo better than my driving skills

 

damn.. how much whp is it putting down? whats the motor setup?

 

Ive never had it RR'd since I've had it, due to soon, just outa interest, they claimed 350 in Japan, feels at least that but its so light its hard to be sure, and ive done a few things since its been here too, mostly to make the most of the spec thats already there.
Motor spec is basically large street port, T04E, tubular manifold, 1000cc inj, HKS F-Con Pro, Pre-comp WI, etc etc
Currently 1bar boost, but once I've done a few tweeks I want to see 1.5bar, for more torque if anything, done a quick test at that boost and its a whole other planet.

Im mega, mega, fucked off with it today as I was meant to be at a drift day and the POS flooded n wouldnt start, took so long to sort out it wasnt worth going after

Got another event Sunday but its a comp, nothing serious and nothing I expected to do well in, but wanted todays practice to get back in to the flow before Sunday...

 

It is so nice to finally have a running, driving turbo II again.
