I need that hood vent... looking niicceee with that greenn

heres some recent action shots from last 626 event.
After destroying 3 stock motor mounts, I finally went with some solid mounts. The new solid aluminum motor mounts made my car feel like it gained 50+hp..The car ran really great during practice. Initiating at top of third and early was REAAALLL nicceee.. Although I didnt have to use the hand brake, the ebrake works again with the Hawk hps pads in the rear and replaced t2 rear calipers and e brake cables. I qualified into top16 like 10th place[Im not sure dont remember] and during the competition my car ran out of gas -_-....[No wonder my car was stuttering randomly during practice] This is what happens when you drift with a gauge that doesnt work. Fris from lucky 7 found that it was a typical blown fuse.. Sigh should have added more gas at the station before the event.. So now my gauge cluster works again. I just need a new speedo cable, the damn rats/mice from the rental house chewed up my cable in half.

Sorry for the fail 17x7.5 rear wheels.. They are drift spares

Im working on my interior right now..New leather dash... I bought a mechanical water temp gauge, but dont know where to setup the sensor. I have a s5 motor so I dont have that super awesome s4 waterpump water filler neck to hook up a sensor.. Where do you guys setup your water temp sensor on a s5 t2 motor? I have a stock radiator.. Should I find some kind of metal homedepot water pipe and clamp it between the radiator hoses and drill/ tap the sensor there?

Also where can I buy the white vacuum line for the boost gauges? My boost gauge vacuum line melted, so I need to replace that...
Looking at all the pages of the interior thread really inspired me. Thinking of doing something cool for the shift ****.

love

here a not so great but it works method.

I took some aluminum and just cut it to shape and then drilled a hole and taped it. Then just bolted it into the cap location.

bad side is it's in a spot where air bubbles can form and it's after the thermostat. I've been running it for a couple years now.

Cheers, been driving it for a bit about 18 months, was rotary for a while then they kept exploding, so had to 1JZ it, been badass since.

I was thinking about that same spot, but the problem is that s5 t2s come with a plastic coolant upper water housing neck w/e you call it.. Is it safe to tap into plastic?

t2 rotor : No its not a new dash, but to me it looks new because it has no cracks and is not faded and looks 100x better than my old dash..So it feels new to me. Gimmee a breakk okay?? haha

I know it's not new I just couldn't believe you think the dashes are leather.

Tap the aluminum water pump housing below the thermostat. That's where the factory sensor is and it's thick metal.
