Risk it if you want. I wont put that **** on my car. I came really close to putting in a welded diff until friends and the forum slapped me in the face. I had forum members at my house personally tell me "IT'S ******* STUPID."

It's a measly $100 for safe, legit angle tie rods. How much is it going to cost when your rack strips on either end and puts your car into a wall?

For an FC? Like $100

No but srsly I think I might get the free PBM spacers, see what the thread length looks like, then figure it out. $100 is a great deal for inners anyways, and theres no reason not to replace the old tie rods on my car while I have the front end and motor out.

on my car i run 7 mm of washers with loctite. I have yet to have any problems with them stripping out even after bumping someone during tandem and screwing up my alignment. The question is really how comfortable are you with running alot less threads for your inner tie rod. Many people have spaced theirs out without problems, and of course whenever you ghetto rig **** there is a possiblilty it will break.

There's not a problem in the world running a welded diff, provided you operate your vehicle with intelligence and respect the characteristics of how a welded diff works.

You missed the "puts your car into a wall" part.....

That's going to cost more than $100 to fix unless your insurance is the ****.

It's funny, I deal both Kaaz and Tomei, and yet I'm putting a welded in the s13 daily I'm slapping together. Go figure.

I'll admit it, i did.

That's all fine and dandy for a stock vehicle.

Throw in coils, carbon fiber, fpr aero, $4k worth of wheels and tires, $1k+ coilovers plus whatever else that usually gets worked in an uncontrollable understeer/oversteer situation and it starts getting real expensive real quick.
