Dude save up another $500 and you can get the tein super street coilovers. They will be excellent for you to start out on. They are a nice stiff spring with 16 way adjustable rears from soft to stiff. List price on their site is $1,390. I may sound a lil bias towards Tein because i own them but I have tried a lot of other combinations on various cars as well as different 7's. If you are serious about drifting or any type of racing you need to spend the money on the good stuff, otherwise you will be back where you started a year from now. Ive seen the cheap stuff work and be decent for people but trust me, start out with the good stuff and you'll advance pretty quickly.

yeah, i here that. My biggest thing is going to be seat time though. im a little biased against Tein, ive heard good things. However, i have also heard a lot of shitty thngs. if i wait till friday, I will more than likely just go with a set of Stance GR+'s. I always here great things about them.

A year from now I should be in a better position with my job, hopefully money will not be as much of an issue. So i can run DG's or PBM's and be making 1500hp and have a giant wing. lol dreams..

Keep in mind, Buckey's been on eBay garbage coilovers and stock top-hats the entire time, and has been kicking *** for a Pro-Am privateer.

I agree that seat time is a more attractive offer. You can't go wrong with Stance though, I'd suggest them.

um, pbms are like 1k before shipping so why would you get stance and then switch to those? I hear that the stance are better if you're streeting your car too since the dampers are more forgiving. pbms have 10kg front 8kg rear and some people have got the 6kg and swapped to 8kg/6kg but still say they are real stiff mostly due to the damper design. great for drifting though and if you don't mind a bumpy ride then its not a problem. I hear real good things about stance though. I don't have personal experience driving on either myself, I have pbm's waiting to go in my car.

I'm dumb that's why.. Jk, guess I didn't pay attention. I have mentioned earlier about buckey doing awesome with **** for coils, he didn't even delete dtss. I am planning on this being a budget build at first. Since I dd the car too, I don't exactly want a "booby bouncer" (yes I do), so that's why I'm thinking stance.. Or just get Godspeed and spend the rest on a clutch and diff rebuild. I dunno.. ***** happening this week though..

Hell, even Godspeeds are better than blown stock **** and garbage springs.

I found Intrax springs on an '86 base at the junkyard the other day ... I need to rob someone so I can buy those.

I have tockico illumina's right now. After I put could in I'll prolly sell them for the cheapness. Or trade then plus cash in my end for injectors, or whatever.

The black ones, yeah I jumped the green/white to ground and ran a fused switch for now. I have another switch coming. I'm also leaking coolant out if the bottom of the radiator. Guess it's time for the Godspeed..

look at the front turnsignal wiring, and the 4x side marker lights. when you hit **** they get pinched between things and short out on stuff. blowing the illumination fuse will cut the dash lights/tail lights everytime. i went through that for like 3 months until i said **** it, and threw in a 40amp fuse, and eventually caught my interior on fire. it was pretty rad.

I just jumped the green/white wire to ground with a switch. Now I can rock out with my **** out at night again. Interior fires are fun as ****. I cooked up a '88 conquest tsi that way.
