Need help!!! Building my first 1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo 2 FC S4 daily drifter!!!

Hello everyone,

I posted on my introduction about building a 20B FC; however, I noticed it was too much for my budget. So I started thinking my options and something I always wanted to do besides going fast. That is to build a daily drift RX7!!!!

Since this is my dream car and my first rotary. I’m going to need some help from you guys! I have done some research such as needing angel of no more 4 degrees front, 0 degrees back. 6 puck unsprung transmission from ACT(need help to pick flywheel), hydro-ebrake, garret gtx4088R, and Kaaz 2 way differential.

yet I have no idea about the suspension and alignment needed such as cambers, tie rods, and such. Meaning what parts to get for my FC.

Below(spoiler) is another users post on parts he/she bought for his car:

When I checked out this users setup, most of all the stuff listed aren’t available on the web. That eye candy tie rods and Mazdatrix angel kit sounds nice!

Will the BRC Racing coil overs work for drifting or do I need like a brand like tien or something like that?? Also what size tires and rims do I need??? I’m thinking enkei rims and kumho tires.

my goals:
  • 465 horsepower single turbo daily drifter
  • 4 degrees max on front and 0 degrees back
  • Budget but excellent quality parts
  • have lots of fun

Thanks everyone for reading and providing insight!!!

-Will
