For any AZ people or guys around us.
NASA and Trial By Fire are drifting PIR Feb 6th!
Where 3rd gear is the minimum and 4th is where the men are!
It is joined with NASA so a membership is required and HPDE1 Class before you can join the drift group.
Nasa membership is $40
HPDE1 is $169ish (DE1 in any area should be acceptable)
Drift $100 (Four 15 minute sessions mixed between DE1/2/3/4/ TT)

every time PIR is open for drift my car is down.
oil cooler should be here thursday and all i need is AN fittings for the cooler and the turbo...
still gotta break in the motor and get a sick clutch before i can tear it up

$140 wouldn't be too bad if you didnt have to take the $169 class.... it's just not worth it to me to pay to drive out there, and burn a few $100 in tires, and chance breaking my car right before the season opener for XDC. i need to save up all i can....

HPDE1 WILL make you a better driver. A lot of drifters skip that stuff and it really helps hone your skills.

We barely got this event. It took a lot of bitching. NASA AZ has gotten so big they don't have room to give us an hour. Last time we got PIR was Jan. 2010.
Anyone that can't afford this lump sump.
Please do yourself a favor and join NASA and do DE1 anyway. I promise you won't regret it. You also get a year subscription to Grassrootsmotorsports when you join

seans gonna be in the vert for the beginning of the year...
dropped the motor from the drift chassis into it.
He did HPDE last year, but i wonder if they will allow a cageless vert to drift???
