the 20b is to much money

 

way cheaper 1800 motor and 1000 tranny

 

i did a cam, springs and headgaskets, that was 600 more, i got my headers for 40 bucks from a camaro just had to mod them ( every tube!! ) i put a light wight flywheel + cluch 550. got the rad for 100 bucks. drive shaft was 280. so about 4400 bucks for 390 hp

13b to make about 400hp 1500 motor 500 cluch and flywheel, rebuild motor 800, turbo 1000, wg 350, injectors 300, intercooler 350, piping 100, bov 100, haltech 700 ish, manifold and dp parts 250 so thats about 6000

20b im not even going to go into that lol

I never said I didn't like the ls1. I was just saying that would be the end all engine for this car. I can't say anything about an engine that's making 400hp with a mild cam.

Put about 2,000usd into some golden heads and that engine will be stupid fast.

ls1's arent that hard to find these days....its the t56 that is the expensive part. start checking with a local engine exchange ive found ls1's around the 1500$ range with 100ish k miles

 

for 2k im going to super charge it. heads are to much money for 40 hp

 

 

ok but the ls1 is for the most part stock and will last for a long time. on top of that i dont like rs20 , ka or rbs they are way way over priced

 

400hp with just an intake, long tube headers back, and a tune? Most people with those only make around 340hp. Id imagine he has to be running a ls6 intake mani among other things to make 400hp.

 

5500ft is not the best for making power

 

The s13 made like 401whp. Your seriously gonna make a big deal about 11hp? Who cares?

 

might be the fairy dust he puts in the fuel. he might lie about his dyno . all i know is they make cams bec it makes more power. this is my cam

and i know alot of people with ls1 and my car makes good power for what it has
