J.t.p. Nooooooooooo

From Speedhunters.com

"Some more big news for Formula Drift today. Falken Tire has just announced the latest addition to their drift team for 2010 - Justin Pawlak. Justin will be driving an ASD-prepped 2010 Ford Mustang similar to Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s - making for two Mustangs on the Falken team. This is huge news for Team Falken, and a big move for JTP, who impressed last season in the Bergenholtz RX8."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm happy for him, but I wish he could stay rotary. He should hop into the Falken RX7. I haven't seen anyone driving that thing.

justin wants to win, not spend half the season experimenting with another new car setup.
the mustang is new to him, yeah, but JR's setup works GOOD. it wins. bottom line.

trust me, its gonna take justin like 5 laps to get used to the mustang.

He's got sponsors and is on a great team. It's not like he said "**** rotary".

He's still a drifter, just on a different chassis.

You can't tell me if someone offered you an awesome deal but you had to compete in a different car that you would just up and walk away from it.

Hell No. I never said he should walk away from it. I hope he drives the **** out of that mustang and shows the V8 pigs what rotary bred drivers are made of. I'm just saying I'd like to still see him rip those same v8 and nissan drivers new ******** with some rotary power.

That "Falken" FD is not a Falken car, Its Calvin Wan's personal car.

When did JR win last? he called out a lot of people last year because he thought his car was all big a bad, I don't remember him geting a 1st place last year

I be a fan of Justin for whatever car he drives. I'll just cheer for the other Rotary car a lil more

Yup. I feel justin on both sides.
I bet he didnt want to let his mazda go.

BUt who could pass up a full sponsorship...

SOme of us are about driving. We never cared much about the engines and mechanics.. we were just forced into it because it is a rich mans sport. SOme of us just want to drive cars.... any cars.... on tracks and be competitive without worrying about your personal car .. or how you r going to tow it home if it breaks.

JUST DRIVE!!!=D

Falken may have a lot of cars available in their disposal should they want to compete in a drift event but only some drivers have the privileage to drive certain machines over other people. I have a feeling those 2 Mustangs are both the best rides in the stable. As far as rotary cars go ....Justin still owns his 2ng gen. and when I talk to him he seems to be always tinkering with it still. He has reached the pinnacle of what many grassroots racers/privateers would love to get a chace to do and I think he is probably going to have a break-out year this year. Seems like not that long ago about he was telling me about how he wanted to some day learn "how to drift"... boy did he ever catch on quick, and now here we are. Hopefully 2010 is a good year for MR JTP.

I think this is great.

I want him to preserve the FC and not have to chassis swap mid-year due to a bad crash or something like that. This will also help him not get burned out. Don't get me wrong, Justin has amazing drive and will but it is a lot better on the brain when you can get help like that and still have your own car sitting and waiting for you at home........ safe and sound.

Justin is an awesome driver and a great inspiration to me. I met him like 3 years ago when he started working across the street from Pineapple. He gave me some great driving tips and really good info on how to setup my car. I even bought a bunch of parts of him for deals before he left for California.

He is a Privateer who made it. And that's what I want to be.

That Falken car is on pretty much the same level as his fc. He just finished a season driving a turbo 20b rx8, he's tryin to move up, not take a step back.

UGH.

You (the losers complaining) are total *******.

He is a PRO DRIVER.

Sorry he decided not to fund another season ($40,000+ AT LEAST) out of his own pocket and took an amazing opportunity.

Rotary dorks are ******* pathetic.

Seriously, youre morons.

Good for him. More exposure.... just means he'll get to dump some more cash into his FC or an FD in the future.... and get his shop booming.

Cheers JTP

thanks again for the support dudes... the FC will continually be getting upgrades, as i'll be running it at local events here in socal.. taking the Falken deal was a no-brainer... with the support of Team Falken and a car built by ASD, I'm sure to have a better year than struggling on my own... especially with trying to get my shop going and what not.. fortunately the shop is extremely busy, with car's lined up to come in for work!! i still plan on putting a lot into HotLine and creating one of the best rotary shops in the nation.. and hopefully soon i'll be able to get some HotLine products available for the rotary drift community too!
