I do agree, in our world only the best survive, or the weak survive off the best (like here in welfare state CA lol). Come with me on any touge run and see what I can do, I am always open for opinions; plus you will have a blast!

meh
Being a smog tech for 5 years and a valet parker before that I have driven over 10 thousand cars, quite a few of them were taken for hot laps around my parking lot... yes we race around the oval parking lot at my shop lol it is rather fun, especially on rainy days. Only reason I have a number of cars to quote is because it is included in my statistics that the CA BAR provides during its regular audit.

If you read the context of my statement you will see that fact was merely used to provide background as an influence for my dislike of cars with power going to the front wheels.... so basically yeah. PRO STATUS.

LOL, where the hell did I say that? Drifting originated and gained popularity on mountain roads (in Japan) so listening to this dumbass dorifto fanboy talk **** about it is hilarious.

If you have been doing things like this for five years, and are still alive, then you aren't pushing yourself hard enough.
Hard enough for what? You don't have to push the car 100%, even 70-80% is a blast. How much room for error do you have in tracks like Tsukuba that have little run off area? About as much as you have on the street. The fact that there is ambulances on the track makes little difference when you factor in how much more practice you can get on the street with consecutive laps at your own pace (which may not be practical on a track).

I push my car 110% on autocrosses and probably 80% on backroads, but whats more fun? Easy answer.

Wow that's so cool, when I used to hit up the local canyons I never really saw anyone else. Have you checked out the roads in Scotts Valley, they're AMAZING every back road is twisty!

The good thing is that he didn't wear a helmet, we all know that "real" manly men don't wear helmets.

Same here, and then sell the STI and buy like 30 FCs.... Make a mobile home out of them.

By your statement your screen name is a complete lie... sounds like you fear pistons after all. My advice? Sell your Rx7 and buy an STI. While your at it look up "STI crash" on youtube so maybe you can learn how not to crash your new crappy Subaru.

and by your statement and looking at my sig you are illiterate......already have the sti and the fd.

So tell me what exactly is wrong with an sti? what does your fc do better besides being cheaper?

Illiterate? No.. Inattentive at times? Yes, I did fail to read your signature.

I don't like awd or fwd period. Rx7s in general are just fun to drive; funner than any other car I have driven or owned.

I don't care if you can put down a faster lap time than me or whatever... I have more fun in my FC which is all that matters to me, and well to most people in general. Look at Road and Track, Top Gear, etc... which cars always get the higher praise? Cars that are funner to drive like the super squirley ZR1 over an Audi R8.. or one of my favorites was the BMW M3 winning over the Evo even though the evo was clearly the faster choice.

Anyways after reading your sig I see you have a very nice FD.
