Real men motorboat racks. Manual rack? Sounds like a trap. Check for genital bulge before committing.....

Ebay handbrakes. Lets talk about those since we have ENOUGH threads about hydro brakes. They just all suck a bag of dicks because nobody cares enough to contribute anything but "you dont need one" and "get good rear pads".

So, ebay handbrakes. They use circlips and have alot of slop and play in them. Master cylinder seems generic. Foam grip feels cheap. Master cylinder mouting holes didn't line up all that well with the frame of the handbrake...... I'll write a full review after it's installed and has some do-work time on it. I'm excited to play with it after it has a grip that doesn't feel homo and the 1" of side to side play is taken out of the handle. Yes. That's what she said.....

would using two rear calipers per side, switching the sides they normally mount to and running separate brake lines to a 2nd BMC fix the...
"don't use the brake peddle while you pull the hydro handle" issue...

...?

I don't see why it would be an issue. I've used the brake and hydro at the same time in others' cars, and have seen no ill-effects. I can understand if there's a chance of unseating the seal in the hydro master, but that's not very likely in my opinion.

Just did my first event with no power steering, during the parade lap I was thinking to myself, "today is gonna suck!" But once I got out there it felt phenomenal! My arms didn't even get tired by the end of the day. I woke up a little sore on monday, but I feel fine today.

^Exactly. I just replaced my sketch-as-hell Tanabe coilover springs with Intrax lowering springs, put the top spring perch bearing back in, and got rid of all my spring bind. Surprisingly enough i can drive this car with one hand now. Gonna be nice to slide this season.

my rear calipers are still not working like they should... they can hold the car on a hill with the ebrake up but when I'm running they doesn't clamp the rear end like when you do to start a drift... i changed the lines... adjusted them in the ebrake handle... changed them from n/a to turbo rear calipers... almost every thing and still the same problem any suggestions of what else can i do? (not the hydro ebrake for now please)

How are you trying to pull the ebrake? When your going in a strait line?
When your trying to start a "drift"?
Is the clutch in?
How fast are you going?

I only ask these things because I have a stock s13 I drive around for fun. It has crappy $15.00 Duralast brake pads on it, and I can get my rears to lock up.

coil overs - slam them to the ground then raise them till you have no rubbing at full lock and throw all the camber at the front wheels as you can and as for buckey manual racks are for people who think the extra 10lbs of weight from the powered rack is gonna weigh them down lol jk man
