FC3S springs/shocks suggestion

im looking at a simple spring and shock set up, since coilovers are now out of my budget

i think for shocks im going to go w/ Koni Sport Yellow or maybe Tokico Illumina, but im leaning more towars the Koni even if they are more expensive and difficult to install.

for springs im looking into the ones i listed below. if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. and no, dont suggest suspension tech., racing beat, or even eibach, tho they do make a good product. unless of course u know what ur talking about feel free to school me.
for springs i think im going to get RS-R Race springs, maybe the RS-R SUS springs since the koni's are pretty intense from what ive heard. the Tanabes seem good but they might be a bit soft

so if u have any of these springs or dampeneres, even if in a different make, plz let me know what you guz think about them.

you could get ground control coil overs, and be able to adjust height and also pick your spring rates.
they arent that expensive, But if you are buying konis, springs and caster/camber plates, you will be spending about as much as a set of coilovers cost

well the springs are going to cost about $190 w/o shipping, shock are freakin expensive, lookin at about $600 w/o shipping, and the plates $270 w/o shipping

so thats about $1080, but the ground control springs are about $150 more than the rs-r's

the thing is tho, that if i were 2 get ground control coilovers i would like the dampeners not to have so much stroke, which is something the koni shocks wouldnt do... i think

for a short stroke i know id have to go w/ something like cusco, stance, tein coilovers or w/e

If you're that poor, cut your springs.

Otherwise, save for a proper setup.

Ive bought Tein RA and HA`s three times, used, from jp. Works like cream and ive paid around 500 usd for one pair. Okey, they might need some paint to look shiney but they work and are quite stiff =D

wow we cant forget about PBM. when i first started reading the post, i did not know what you are looking for because you just said it is a track car. to best help you with what suspension setup to run, i or we would need to know what kind of racing will you be doing on the track. when i saw u were looking for a shock and spring setup. i had great experiences with Koni shocks and Eibach springs. coilovers are becoming more affordable these days, that i have had two sets of JIC FLTA2 given to me for free, i rebuild them and slap them on my car. however, for a racecar you want to keep everything as simple as possible. So what kind of racing are you doing?
