Well the Pez mounts put the motor super far back (notice the firewall destruction right in the middle. Plus I noticed people usualy use 1 3/4 headers, so the 1 7/8 is larger and I wrapped them, so even larger still

and the flat blue really caught my eye. What do people think of this color on an FC?

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. It's been slow goin as my available time seems to be disappearing more and more every day. Anyway one of my frame rails was almost rotted through right behind the drivers side headlight to I decided to cut the whole front off
Then I made base plates and threaded them. Then welded them on.
Then bent up some DOM tube and have it tacked together right now. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll get a chance to weld it.
After thats welded, we'll throw the motor back in and I'll fab up a trans mount.
More updates soon.

Thanks dude. I'm hoping it will be seriously functional as well. It wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. Even using a manual bender and the drill for the notcher not working so I had to go out and get another drill it only took like 3 hours. I think for my first rodeo that isn't bad.

I've been screwing around and painting the headlight covers to find a color that I like. I think I've finally settled on this blue. I like it, I think it's cool, but still modest.

Doin a little more work on the front end. I built mounting brackets for the bodywork yesterday. In case anyone is wondering all the body panels I bought are super cheap. Probably worst molds ever. I wanted cheap so when I beat it up it's not a big investment lost. The problem With that of course is nothing fits right haha.

Modded up a set of knuckles. Pretty easy I thought actually. Basically copied the Rotary Works design. Cut 3/4 of an inch out and tried to get the tierod pickup close to the brake rotor. I also drilled out the pickups to accommodate 14mm hardened bolts. Car also has rack spacers and secret element inner tie rods. The angle is about 50* and after an alignment the ackerman will be pretty close to zero. I have two more sets of factory knuckles waiting around for making improvements on these. For anyone wondering, I screwed them up 3 times before getting to here.

get this thing done.... first event comes quick.
My comfortable lack of motivation was upset somehow and my car is caged..it came out retardedly awesome plenty of head room and the cage is super tight to the chassis, and that lower rad outlet now comes out the side of my setup...no more scraping on pavement transitions.. Totally ready for offtrack goodness.
Hurry up and finish.... I wanna rub my green paint on your driver door :-)))))
