^^^^.....usually someone elaborates when they bash a build thread. BUT, we all cant be the perfect douche. im sure youll reach perfection one day.

Stupid posts will always be met with stupid responses. Anyone who knows me, should know this by now.

I remember the first time I tried to put a few sentences together.

rotorican85 04-18-13 01:00 PM

Made a bash bar out of 1 1/4 steel tubing from home depot and a pipe bender from Harbor Freight. Welded it myself, so im actually proud that it (semi) fit haha. but itd even let me put the bumper cover on too!

Attachment 674194

Repainted my cobra rep's since they were a bit scratched from going off track. Wrapped them in a knobby snow tire, loving the combo in the rear so far.

Lined up next to my buddys SW20 MR2 with the 3.0L Camry V6 and a 5 spd manual trans with LSD. pretty awesome setup

Taken at the College Park Tuning Spring Meet in Bowie, MD this past sunday.

Oh and drifting this bad boy is a shit ton of fun. its so balanced, pretty predictable, and the power is almost always there.

And to the douche that thought i wrecked this in the 1/4, go buy hooked on phonics and READ my whole build thread, you dumbass

Hossler 04-24-13 10:24 PM

:wtf1:

i just have no idea..

OC DEBO 06-20-13 01:54 PM

SO i wish i had pictures for this update, but its mainly just words.

Opted to just do a monster race port instead of Semi PP strictly because im a broke ass dude. Still trying to sell this bolt in 6 pt cage for the FD to fund the last bit of the rebuild. Everything else on the car is set and ready to go. Going to go to my local tire guy and see if i can set up a sponsorship with him to help offset costs.

Also planning out my cage and paintjob for 2014 and still planning on running in the 2014 US Drift series. While the engine is out im gonna go ahead and paint the engine bay Traffic cone orange, and clean up the wiring a bit to make it look less ghetto. Hopefully in a month or so i should have real pics to document what we've been up to the past few months!

rotorican85 06-20-13 02:01 PM

Now with that porting you should get a bigass turbo....HINT!!! Lol

OC DEBO 06-20-13 02:24 PM

lol Julio if i had the money for your turbo i would have semi PP done. The GT35 is gonna be maxed out so i will need to upgrade eventually. one day when i have monies.....

With a large port like that youre definitely gonna push that gt35 to the edge.

I finally got to the track a few weeks ago myself. Car ran a very comfortable 12.3 with a crappy reaction time and granny shifting. That was first pass off the trailer. It felt good an it has a lot left in it at just 13psi boost. Gonna work on launching the car better and see if i can get into the 11's.....then i'll plan a race tune...it's a bad addiction man!!!

OC DEBO 06-21-13 01:05 PM

Youre still running that EK10 haltech right? or did you finally go platinum

rotorican85 06-21-13 01:16 PM

Using a platinum 1000. Got rid of the microtech about a year ago. Not a single issue or blown motor since. Car runs like a dream.

So while my FD is under the knife for its rebuild, i decided to do some work and pick up this gem from my friend who was letting it sit. Granted i let it sit for 3 months but im finally digging into it. Enjoy the pics.

if i told you guys what i got this car for, you might kill me. Some of the older rotor heads/SCCA pros might recognize some of the stickers. I have a full SCCA logbook that came with the car, so im gonna keep it an SCCA/autocross car.

just finished plumbing the fuel system to the carb. next step is fixing the wiring and gettin her to start. I dont know shit about the OMP on these motor so some help is appreciated.

Premiumriceonly 06-29-13 07:20 PM

What's wrong with Autocross?

FD3S2005 06-30-13 09:56 PM

i dont see a problem auto crossing, once i get my car back from the shop this week, i hope i can make it out to an event...

OC DEBO 07-01-13 07:51 PM

I dont believe i said anything negative about autocross. Hence why im excited to get this thing back to being operational. It would be nice to fling this thing around. Holley carb, Holley blue fuel pump, full cage, mystery diff, fuel cell, and coilovers. Just wanna get her to turn over and start, see what kind of battle i have ahead of me.

its killing me to have two perfectly awesome rotary race cars just waiting to be finished......Who wants to buy a 1000cc sportbike to finish both these cars? haha

FD3S2005 07-02-13 11:15 PM

was curious, i know your using the jtc knuckles, is it a direct fit? or is there some modding to it?

assad112000 07-02-13 11:40 PM

ya know i first i thought this was stupid cause u flat blacked a FD and were drifting it. But then i thought people drift 350z's all the time and their worth about the same. So kudos to you, car is dope and im glad ur taking it sideways. Much better then just making it a quick street car. Its all about being different in different and u got it down

Thanks for the flatery pagonizondadude, but We had our booth in the next few spaces to the right of this shot. And i would be an even bigger tool to park like this in real life with Park Police right behind me.

Appreciate the kudos guys

FD3S2005, Yes i sent my knuckles to JTP and they came back with a quickness. He paints them any color you choose, and they went right in. i would make sure to file out the paint on the inside of the control arm bushing mounts, since that will make it a nightmare to mount them without breaking something (like i did).

assad112000 07-05-13 03:21 PM

how quick was the turnaround time?

OC DEBO 07-09-13 07:51 AM

i got them done over a year ago, but i wanna say about 5-7 buisness days. He's real responsive about getting back to you usually the same day if you call and leave a message to give you more accurate timelines , based of of what other stuff he has in the shop.

FD3S2005 07-09-13 12:15 PM

Not surw what you meant by clean out thw control arm bushing mount
