Congrats, welcome to not being rotarded! No stopping you now!
Pre-Buckey going v8 : V8s are stupid, too heavy, ruin the car, kill the soul, means you have no skill, blah blah blah.
Post-Buckey going v8 : Yeah, that's cool, good job! V8s belong in Rx7s! Wai2go! XD

Mohan gives everyone a good run for their money with that RX8 so its not like you have to have a V8, but as long as that T56 is in the garbage LS can be cool.

Started my own business, own a handfull of crappy FC's and trying to have fun with what i like. I like the challenge. I thinks its pretty rewarding throwing down with your buds in "harder to drive" drift cars.
But its my build so here it is One step closer to how i want it.
The v8 thing is cool though. I have a lot more respect for lsx setups. Its easy. Common. Consistent. Predicatable. In the terms of competitive drifting thats what it takes to do well. Odi is a pretty killer driver on any weekend, but what makes him super good, is that he is at events every weekend. Every weekend is a new shot at doing well, and getting refamiliarized with your setup.
Im always bouncing around with different tires, brands, sizes, new/old, different turbos, this or that. I feel im the epitomy of a broke drift kid. Whatever breaks id always try to swap to anything available to get back out and drive hurting my familiarity with the car. Like working on it to get it to run instead of practicing for the comps....
The whole reason i did this build last season was to get a consistent setup and regain that familiarity with my car. Make it safe, make it accesible, make it log info, make it integrated into incar cams to watch what im doing, etc. i wanted the conpetitive setup to have fun in and stray away from the work all the time thing. I really think its there now. But we'll see!

How so? Ive come along way since i was a broke 20yr old kid living at home with a stock TII.

Havent posted in here in awhile...
Red car made 400whp on 13psi @ rrr dyno tuning. Vids on facebook. Too lazy to figure out how to post them here from mobile. Sounds cool, running e85 using 1 044 fuel pump.
Just ordered the Full Function Engineering 60t trigger kit to sort out the signal loss we were experience from 115mph - 145mph on the dyno (didnt get to see rpm graph) id imagine it will regain like 20-60whp considering from 6k rpm + it starts getting weird on the sheet. But regardless its done, makes power, is really safe, runs cool, and my wiring is perfect still.
Im pumped. Need to plumb the power steering setup and add an oil cooler and finally get some sessions in again.

Ive been having **** luck lately with distributing parts... Ordered a hood for one dude and a bn kit for another and now im replacing their cash since the parts never came through.... Business blows. Ive sold most everything ive had on hand already. Just little bits and pieces here and there left but nothing substantial.
