No. Why would it?

If all your emissions crap is still on the car in functioning order i dont see how it would.

All you are doing is extending the port up.

Bridgeport definately sounds cool. Brap-brap-brap-brap-brap!!!!!

it depends on your set up. If its NA and tuned well with 720's then you should be good. Depends on how rich it is.

its all about the tune.

In AZ we have 400hp and plates Hahahahahahaha. On the Hook up!!!!!!

What? You didn't know? Marijuana kills, even when used responsibly.

Guns make the world a safer place to live!

I'll aid in the melting of the polar ice caps for those of you that have to deal with the emissions police. You can still cheat and bribe your way to a "pass" sticker unless you get roadside checked in which case you are fucked.

No he didn't say that, you can pass with a street port and all the emission **** on and if you hide all your upgrades pretty well and if you have decent relation ship with your smog guy. I had a bnr 2 sp set up on my **** for 4 years and passed smog, the cool thing is fc's are obd1 so they Sony scan the comp so you can run any system you want just keep it semi conservative and you'll pass fine

Oh how I miss FL. No emissions laws...

Rocking my N/A carb with a straight pipe. I use to love looking in my mirror to see the look on peoples faces as I drove by. Especially people in convertibles. Eyes get all squinty and watery from the fumes. Having to shut my car off at long red lights and rail road crossings so I wouldn't pass out. 4/20 was the best! I was high before I even made it to my friends house!

*sigh*

The good old days...

Question. Would 13B N/A with a P-Port be good for drifting?

Knowing how much power they make up top, yes. You just can't be a bitch with the throttle wanting the tires to step out for low speed 2nd gear corners at 3k....... Kick the **** out of the clutch and get that **** screaming into powerband. Same as a bone stock n/a or an n/a bridgey.

Power is in the upper rpm range. Cool sounds are ALSO in the upper rpm range. We all know cool sounds are ALSO fun. You want to have fun and make people go deaf, right? I hope so. If you have a rotary and dont rev the dogshit out of it like your plowing on prom nite then something is wrong.

I'm not talking **** by any means. I'm just tired of people preaching (to me more often than not) that low end torque is the best end all be all ******* for drifting. Dont believe that ****.

Im running a Half-bridgey with a Borg Warner s370. Im picking up the new manifold tomorrow and getting it dyno'ed on friday so we will know for sure how it looks on the dyno.

I luv the bridge, only downside is it attracts cops. I was next to one at a red light and he said it sounds like its gonna blow up

Well i actually did the opposite and looked like an *** lol.

The idle was set a little high and i have a 6 puck and i attempted to leave the light slowly and quietly(which is Impossible) and stalled the car. All things considered im just glad he didnt pull me over: no cats, no inspection, car is really low = Impound yard.

i love how rx7 owners care about the low end torque we dont have

I care about off idle power.

My **** BOGS if i drop below 6k doing a burnout on CAMBERED 205's.

On cold start, it idle's like a bridgey...which sounds gangster as **** but it cant be good for it. Trailing coil misfire maybe b/c my tach does jump around somewhat. I'll check the plug leads.

I'm a seven owner but i care about the low end grunt i dont have. I want solid and reliable midrange power to make my life a bit easier and my driving a bit more laid back and relaxed. Everything happens almost too fast with my car when i'm at 6.5k+ and i literally WATCH my fuel needle drop. If i can make good power between 3.5k and 6k i'm happy.

Like it's been said MANY times over on this forum: everyone has their preferences and not everyone has the same personality and driving style.

Yeh this is cool. I have a small port on my GXL i got done when my water jackets failed and it has decent gains as far as mid range torque goes imo. And she passed smog easily.

I got a hks mushroom intake an RB dual exhaust to help it breathe better, and I plan on getting headers/presilencer to top off whatever hp i can get out of her when I finally start practicing some drift.

I wont have to baby her anymore by then lol. Just sit on the throttle and stomp the clutch, right?

I just been taking care of mine n I'm fortunate with good results. Ive used G2P fuel injector cleaner, good platinum spark plugs ngk wires. All my emissions work fine too even tho I kno I have an exhaust leak in my cat.
