Just got around to installing my AST, but it seems mine has one more nipple than 13b people utilize. The black line is going to the top of my overflow tank, the next one down is on the nipple just behind and below the thermo, and the third nipple on the AST is going to the rad filler neck.
Am I doing this right?

 

Im like 99% sure that nipple behind the thermostat is pressurized. Its right before the thermostat where the water is the hottest.

 

So that sounds like a bad place for the line. I was told it's the nipple that supplies water to the turbo, but that doesn't see right to send the hottest possible water to the turbo
