Anybody running tubs?
Tubbing the front for when I build my knuckles, and can't find any photos of tubbed FC's. Anybody wanna share?
Already cut out the wheel wells, I have them mocked up with cardboard for templates. Should be welding them in some night this week.

Here's mine.
Make sure you tie (Stich weld) the metal forward of the strut together. there is three layers.
the quickest and easiest way is trailer fenders. One fender did both my tubs, cost 30 bucks. lol.

Thanks! Awesome looking engine bay btw. That's basically exactly how I cut mine out. I was wondering how structurally sound the front would be, I'll stitch weld everything as well as the cut seams. I'm still in the process of removing everything from the engine bay, hopefully it'll be done and ready for paint in a week or so

Thanks Comic. That LS looks sooo good in there. Looks clean. Zenkie, that gnarly, good job.
My next question is what did you guys do for harness's?
Me, I went through the stock unit and shaved it all back into the cabin besides Headlights, turn signals, and coils. All relays and the main fuse box are in the cabin now. you guys running a custom harness?
all the relay's extended and brought over to the pass footwell side.
To the right is all the harness that is now used. Cleans crap up and is easy to diagnose.

In the pics I posted I still hadn't ran the harness but I ended up running it all back in to the cabin like you did. I pulled all the extra wires I didn't need, and drilled a hole and ran it out the driver side fender so it's not visible.
Edit: people like looking at pictures lol.

Interesting. How many degrees are you running George?
As far as tucking, I've left my chassis harness alone for now and the ka harness is tucked as well as it can be under the intake manifold. I don't think ill mess with the chassis harness until I gut and cage the car.
