Drifted the hell out it. The rain got the better of me in the AM. The front/rear bumper are trashed but will be fixed sometime this week. My alingment was worse than i thought and the car felt sketchy once power was induced. Over all the engine is amazing and sounded super dope. The only problems I had engine wise was lots of blow by. Gotta install an oil catch can and this should solve the problem.

Front bumper
rear
rear tire after 8 laps
I was lucky enough to get all the pieces that broke off the kit. I should have listened to my wife and taken the kit off. Now I have to re-fiberglass the bumper, use fiberfiller, and re-paint it. Could have been worse!!

looked at the picture knoop posted and I didnt like the front stance due to the body kit being so long. I decided to copy what Stephen "wishihadasilvia" did and take 1" of the body kit, so Ill be able to lower the car for more clearance and avoid having to do this again. I wont be making hyperfest this year and possibly eastcoastbash. Since I dont have any other events planned I decided to do this.

Here is an update.
just got back from a month and 1/2 patrol out at sea and now I want to really finish my car.
Today I finish fitting the diagonal bar, the harness bar, boxed in the front mouting plate, and welded everything that was tacked in place. Sorry for the **** cellphone pictures. Once I get closer to completion ill shoot i with the canon.
What left on the to do list:
1. add-rear strut tower to main hoop legs. The once pictured are not right as per NASA 2011rulebook. They need to attached to the strut bar and not the brace I put in.
2. Gussetts, gussetts, dimple dies every where!!!!!!
3. Door bars
4. Install AFFF fire extinguisher system
5. Install dash and some interior pieces
Sill need to order:
1. A real LSD!!!
2. Battery Disconnect
Goal is to have the car driveable by this weekend. The rest can be done any time.

Not trying to be a hater or anything, but I really like the look of your old wheels. I thought the highlighter yellow on black was flawless and I'm not as crazy about the new wheels.
On a completely unrelated note... How do you like the fortune auto coilovers? My Teins are 5 years old now and I'm thinking of getting something else.

Love my fortunes. Especially when i can get them customized to whatever i feel like the car or my driving style needs. TEINS wont do that. also the are assembled in the USA!!!!
I liked the old wheels but its time for a new look. got kinda bored with that look and im painting the car this winter. New looks, new wheels, new sounds, new trans!!!!! can not wait to be back on the track

winter build!!!! lets change something. I am producing a set of headlight buckets for the fd3s. The plan right is to make a limited run of these and see how people like them.
945 Dstyle FD3s headlights in the making!!!!!!
